Genuine Issue Winter Convalescent Jacket
What a great find! These are original Genuine heavy weight convalescent jackets. These were given to servicemen and women who needed to go to medical to recover from injuries. While these would often have white stitching on the breast with the initals US or a medical caduceus, our jackets are in original government packaging with no stitching applied. You can see a great example of this jacket worn by Liutenant Dan while recovering from his injuries in Forrest Gump!
